Martina Bürger is an illustrator, media designer, and author, and co-founded the project "The Image of_Birth" together with Elisa Maria Elß. With a focus on pregnancy, birth, and motherhood, she illustrates books, editorials, and campaigns centered on the beginning of life. Her goal is to convey complex topics in a way that is both accessible and emotionally resonant. Due to her personal experiences as a mother, as well as her commitment to improving maternity care, birth became both her artistic and political focus.

Das Event zeigt, wie konstruktiver Journalismus die Darstellungen von Geburt in den Medien und damit die Geburtskultur in Deutschland positiv verändern kann. In einer Kombination aus Theorie, Storytelling, Praxisbeispielen und interaktivem Austausch lernen Teilnehmende, Lösungsansätze und Fakten statt Dramen in den Fokus zu rücken.
