After studying journalism with a focus on history in Giessen, I joined the ZDF’s Contemporary History editorial team. There, I had the opportunity to help shape the “Terra X History” series for nearly fifteen years — as a writer, editor, and acting head of the program. My journey into ZDF’s digital offerings began when I took on editorial responsibility for “MrWissen2go Geschichte | Terra X” on YouTube and Instagram. Today, I am the Chief Editor in the main editorial department for History and Science, and I have the privilege of guiding the two program families, “Terra X” and “37 Grad,” across all platforms and distribution channels — whether through exciting content, major strategic decisions, or smaller experimental projects. Always with an eye toward the future of communicating history and science.
