Jörg Thadeusz, a native of Dortmund born in 1968, gained a wealth of life experience before embarking on his media career: as a paramedic, a garbage compactor operator, and a sleeper-car conductor. In 1991, he moved to radio and was part of the founding team of WDR’s youth station 1Live. Since then, Thadeusz has demonstrated in many areas that he is among Germany’s best presenters and journalists: Through his own shows on rbb television, as a reporter for the WDR cult show “Zimmer frei,” as a columnist for major German daily newspapers, and as the host of the satirical show “extra 3.” For these achievements, he has been honored with awards including “Radio Journalist of the Year” and the Adolf Grimme Prize.
