Claire Demesmay is Director of the Institut français at the University of Bonn and Associate Researcher at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin. Specializing in Franco-German relations, her career bridges academic analysis and institutional practice, including roles at different think tanks in Paris in Berlin, and at the Franco-German Youth Office. Formerly holding the Alfred Grosser Chair at Sciences Po Paris, she has published extensively on the Franco-German partnership, European policy, and civil society, notably receiving the Franco-German Parliamentary Prize for her work.
