Christoph Brill is Deputy Legal Counsel for the German Journalists’ Association (DJV). He is Chair of the Authors’ Rights Expert Group (AREG) of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ). As Legal Counsel, he represents the DJV’s position on legislative proposals at the German and European levels. He also conducts collective bargaining negotiations in public broadcasting. He studied law in Göttingen, creative writing and cultural journalism in Hildesheim, and literary writing in Leipzig, where he also completed his legal clerkship. Christoph Brill lives in Leipzig.
